The only difference is that I use html to display this one ! Does anyone have succeed to display on android with html like I do ?

Hi, You can fill a bug report for the documentation module, you can even make a patch and submit it for review if you want.

@jking said: @JKSH That is helpful information. I had only added the QThread into my flow after not having success creating the QGuiApplication directly in the JNI function. Even without the QThread (and no other created QObjects), the QGuiApplication constructor never returns. I will attempt to debug into QT's code and find where it is getting stalled, but I was hoping someone had an idea of what could be wrong. There are no error printouts from QT that I can see in logcat so my current working theory is that I am missing something from the setup of QtActivity in my Service that perhaps the constructor waits on instead of running into an error condition. My goal is to have my service initialize several manager classes (which utilize qt signals and slots) and then continue to use the QGuiApplication in my main function when the QtActivity is started. Those are interesting symptoms. Sorry I'm not able to help you more with this. I suggest you subscribe to the Interest mailing list and ask there -- you can find Qt engineers on that list, who probably know more. Good luck!

OK, I have installed android sdk 16 and now I have android-16 in the android build SDK list in application setup. I thought the last android SDK contained all previous version for compatibility... I was wrong.

I finally got to solve this by myself. I only had to add 'libqgfxtransformed.so' to my target's /usr/lib/qtopia/plugins/gfxdrivers folder. I then ran my app using the '-qws -display transformed:rot90' switch and I got my rotation done!

@SGaist I am using Bitbake "meta-toolchain-qte" for my SDK, Qt Creator 3.3.0, for my IDE, and I downloaded Qt 4.8.5 libraries here: http://download.qt.io/archive/qt/4.8/4.8.5/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.8.5.tar.gz. I extracted the archive and configured Qt like this(note: I am running Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit, and my target is a 32-bit Freescale i.MX6Q SABRE SD: ./configure -embedded arm -prefix ./installdir -qt-gfx-transformed -platform qws/linux-x86_64-g++ -xplatform qws/linux-arm-gnueabi-g++ -nomake examples -nomake demos -no-webkit -no-javascript-jit -nomake translations -little-endian -host-little-endian After doing make and make install, I opened Qt Creator and saw that a new qmake executable (64 bit) is available, so I made a new kit with the new qmake + SDK compiler from Bitbake meta-toolchain-qte. I added this to .pro file QTPLUGIN += qgfxtransformed And added this above my main() function in main.cpp Q_IMPORT_PLUGIN(qgfxtransformed) I built my application but got this error: error: expected constructor, destructor, or type conversion before '(' token Do I have to build the gfxtransformed drivers manually, seeing that there are .pro files for the transformed drivers included in the Qt 4.8.5 archive, so that I can use them to rotate my GUI? Apologies for replying to an old thread

To expand on @SGaist's answer, Qt Mobility Location has been split into 2 modules in Qt 5: Qt Positioning Qt Location Qt Positioning has already been released. Qt Location will be released with Qt 5.5 (in a few months' time)
