Changing the scrollbar's icons

Is there a way to change the arrow button icons on a Scroll bar? I've tried looking it up but all I've found seems to point to links that are no longer available. Im simply trying to change the up and down arrows to a custom icon i made.
Ive tried changing them via style sheet, but when i change it with border-image in the style sheet, my icon gets incredibly small in the center of the arrow. It doesn't hide the rest of the arrow button, it simply puts my icon in the center of it. I cant seem to find a way to make the border image icon scale to the total size of the button, so im curious if there is a way to change the icons easily that i am missing.
or, if it cant be done via style sheet / light coding, if there is a guide/tutorial/example of creating your own QStylebar and changing it that way
