Targeting Android 4.0.x

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know, is it possible to deploy to Android 4.0.x? Many of my users are still on older devices, and it's not possible to force all of them to upgrade to 4.1.x.

And in doing so, what could be the important limitations that will be on this API level?

Hi,

Somewhere in the documentation I saw that API level 9 (Android 2.3) should suffice for Android QT. You select this in the AndroidManifest.xml.

Based on the Platform and Compiler Notes in Qt's documentation, Android version 4.1 and the API level 16 are the minimum requirements.
