    I am running rpi 3 with iot core and would like to deploy application built on 5.9.1 however I am not able to configure the device itself as it keeps throwing the ssh error. please help

        @jsulm yes i can via putty but is there a way to build and deploy via the creator directly?

              SSH connection failure: SSH Protocol error: Unexpected SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_FAILURE message.

              Device test failed.

                Above error is from the options->devices->generic linux device->test

                PS: have put in the correct authentication details and ssh port is 22 with ttl for 30s

                  @jsulm kindly assist on the same as the error seems to be quite small may be i am overlooking.. i have even done port forwarding on my router but that did not work as well. Does it mean i can never deploy directly from qt?

                    @PiEnthuSiastIOT You should check the bug tracker (https://bugreports.qt.io/secure/Dashboard.jspa) if there is nothing then file a new bug with the problem description.
