Get Android device connected on awake

I am developing a chat message appllication using NodeBB and Qt. But when deployed to Android device, I find that when device is sleep and awake, I lose network connection, so is there any API or hooks available for Qt to get device connected? Thanks in advance.

I haven't used it yet but maybe QNetworkSession is what you are looking for.
