Any reason why there is no French international section of the forum?

There is (used to be at least) a strong local forum in France, so back when this forum was set up, French was left out, as there was an active discussion place there.

We can have a French section if you want.

Not a pressing need in any way. Just wondering why French was the only major European language left out. Now I get it
