Noo im not kidding u. last time my chat was strange that worked for me.
For test, try other browser?
If still not working, it must be your profile somehow,

ahh maybe the server u are on have issues. Seems to be multiple hosts.

@mrjj Same problem on desktop with Chrome and Firefox, same with Chrome on Android :-/

ok. I ask some other on chat, so its not all servers or profiles thats affected.

Strange stuff.

Seems like chat does work in principal but only the button on the top doesn't work. I can on the otherhand click on someone's nick here and then select "chat" and that works.

Yep, it's been a while, only way to start a chat is to go the profile page of the person. Also, after a few seconds as I try to open the chat bubble menu I'm greeted by a "Forum Updated" message.

@SGaist Maybe someone in charge has the mercy to reboot the offending server :) @tekojo

Hi folks, there was some insufficient data validation in NodeBB that caused the application crash when fetching recent chats. The validation code is now improved and the crash shouldn't happen anymore. We'll see whether that was enough or is the original data fetched from our Mongo instances somehow invalid. Our database host had some replication problems a while ago and that could explain why some users have issues and some don't.

But if you still keep having issues, please let us know.
