I have Qt 5.6.0 installed on my Mac. I am looking for Qt Assistant for documentation. I don't see where this was installed. Where should I look?

      Hi,

      Something like /path/to/Qt/5.6/clang_64/bin/Assistant.app

I checked and I don't have a directory for Qt/5.6/clang_64/bin. I do have one for 5.5 that has the Assistant.app in it. So is there somewhere I have to specify installing Assistant for 5.6?

I think I see my problem. I renamed Qt to Qt5.6.0 because I have Qt 5.5.1 and Qt 5.5.0 on my computer. Looks like I need to remove all of the versions and reinstall 5.6.0 so it is installed into the Qt folder. I'll let you know if that fixes an issue I'm having with Assistant. It's crashing now that I changed Qt5.6.0 to Qt.

That didn't fix the initial problem I saw with Assistant. When I run Assistant Contents section of it is blank. I have no problem with Assistant when I run it under Windows. I was hoping to include a snapshot of the screen but it doesn't appear that I can include in this response.

Do you mean you don't have any documentation available ?

Unusual but you can add them manually. You should find them in /path/to/Qt/Docs

This can be marked as solved.
