how to enable class variables

hi..
i am using Qt creator in the ubuntu 12.04. i need to compile the application using the external kit am437x cortex 9. i have completed all the process for debugging the creatyed application in to the kit.now started build the code for created application, though i am using external kit as compiler, i have a problem of auto enabling the ui file class variables in to the c++ coding
even if i have typed the source code highlighting colour not getting changed. please let me a solution to solve this problem......
what else i need to do
