Are you a passionate software engineer who can demonstrate the power of native applications to a wide audience? We’re looking for application developers with amazing communication skills to help our customers understand what they can build with the ArcGIS Runtime SDKs. As a member of the Qt Runtime SDK team, you will help design, define, and evangelize the SDK to help drive its adoption.

Responsibilities

Work with users to understand their needs
Help define the product roadmap
Design APIs for new features
Build example applications and samples
Collaborate with Esri developers
Write user documentation, tutorials, and blog posts
Present and evangelize the products in the user community
Keep up to date with current technology and trends

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or a related field, depending on position level
Two or more years of commercial application development experience
Experience in engaging with users and helping to make them successful
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of development on one or more of the following platforms: Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, Mac OS
Proven ability to deliver work in a team and individually
Effective time management and organizational skills
Flexibility to change track as technology changes
Ability to make a difference

Recommended Qualifications

Knowledge of QML
Ability to debug and develop Qt applications using Qt Creator IDE
Ability to design great application user experiences
Hands-on experience with Esri ArcGIS software or other geospatial technology
Passionate about exploring and experimenting with the latest developer technologies
Previous experience presenting at technology events and conferences
