    Hello,

we are looking to use Qt for Embedded Linux in our application.

As I understand, Qt charges per piece royalty cost if bought under LGPL license.

However, do I need to pay royalty if I purchase Qt library under commercial license?

In case of commercial license, do they have dedicated support for customers?

    Looking for positive response.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Nishant

      Hi,

The different licensing options are described "here":http://www.qt.io/download/

For more information you should use the contact form that's at the bottom of the page.

        Hey Sgaist,

I appricate your view and have looked at the information as well. However, I could not see information about Royalty cost on license basis.

I would appreciate if somebody could help me understand that.

        Thanks once again.

        Regards,
        Nishant

That's why you should contact The Qt Company directly about that matter since it's not mentioned anywhere. This is a user forum and you rather need a sales contact.

            Ohhh...okay,

            I got your point.

I just assumed that somebody would be knowing it.

Anyway, I have now contacted Sales.

            Thanks for the direction.

            Regards,
            Nishant
