We're looking for 2 full-time developers to work on a project that can be described as a graphical word processor, with some text in the middle of the screen, and a graphic visualization resembling a mind-map around it. We have a very functional prototype running in AIR, but have settled on Qt for the actual product.

The job requires skills in Qt for desktop development, as well as excellent C++ and data structuring skills. Additionally, parts of the visualization will need to run on mobile around version 2 or 3, and to prevent a rewrite, the graphic aspects need to be done from the get-go in e.g. OpenGL, or something else that will render fast and run light on iOS and Android when the time comes. Experience with sync and collaboration is appreciated.

The job would start in the first months of 2014 and run for at least 1-2 years, but possibly indefinitely. You would work from your own location, but we're primarily looking for people in North America to allow sometimes working in person. We'll consider other locations if you're very highly skilled, or possibly as an assistant developer.

The person I'm most interested in finding is a lead developer who can stay with the project for a long time and who is strong in the needed technologies, Qt, Qt+GUI, fast 2D graphics, database, memory management etc.

We can pay what should be a decent salary.

Please submit resumes to sales@hollywoodcamerawork.us. Include links to as much work as possible.

    Sincerely,

    Per Holmes
