I think the current way to manually mark the thread solved is fine.

QtK, yep and maybe it will help DevNet team to make some semiautomatic conversion to Q&A format for needed posts when it will be ready.

I am with Volker here. For now, let's keep it manual. It's not that much of a hassle.
Keeping it consistent will most likely make it easier to transition later on when we have the Q&A features implemented. :)

Fine for me. I will keep changing the topic title to "[Solved] ..." to mark them as solved.

Sorry to get back to this post.
I do that because it is now August and maybe this thing is not smooth yet.The problem might not be just a tag issue, I believe that when you start a topic there should be some warning about that. Instead we have this:
Post a New Topic in Bla bla
_ - Before posting a question please use the search feature to see if it’s already answered._
_ - Found a bug? The bugtracker is the right place for reporting bugs in Qt and Qt related projects._
_ - Make your code pretty by wrapping it in "@" for syntax highlighting._
_ - Make sure you write a descriptive title, and remember: Write “Qt”, not “QT” (QuickTime)._Maybe it should be stated as an official rule and warning in the thread creation
- Please make sure to manually add a [SOLVED] tag to the title of your post after solving your problem. But most important, it is not even in the forum rules (see "here":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/rules)
or posting rules (link in the bottom left of your web page)Q&A, beautiful customized TAG or manual [SOLVED] edit, its ok. ;-)
But it should be in the culture/politics/rules/etc, and not just a mouth to mouth rule :-)Regards,

Hi,
For your information, it's described in the "forum help link":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/ForumHelp#849a7b43ab769ceb75791c45bf30a12b on the main forum page.

Thanks, but my point is that it should be everywhere, and not just there. Some webpage text editing might keep knowledgeable people such as you from keep telling people to type solved (as I actually saw experts doing) from time to time.
I am sure your $/h is expensive :-) . -

We earn 0€/h ;) because we all do it in our free time.
Some time ago we were told we could expect devnet forum beta2 by the end of the summer.

The QnA feature is in active development right now (looking good), although it will probably be "fall" more than "late summer". :)

Feels like "fall" here - weather wise, so I can expect an update soon? :-P
