I just re-installed Qt Open Source from scratch on my trash can Mac Pro running 12.7.6, and it crashes every time. Here is the head of the report. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi,

Something seems very off here... libsentry seems to use a symbol that is not available on macOS 12 but claims macOS 10.10 support...

You should check the bug report system to see if there's something related. Note that Qt supports the last three versions of macOS as Apple which means 15 down to 13.

You can try out the alternative releases from https://github.com/qt-creator/qt-creator/releases

I think the crashhandler is not integrated there. The binaries are also not notarized either.

You find older releases here: https://download.qt.io/official_releases/qtcreator/ . You can use the "Link with Qt" (https://doc.qt.io/qtcreator/creator-project-qmake.html#register-installed-qt-versions) functionality to make it aware of your Qt Online Installation (the question should pop up on first start).

I guess we missed forcing the platform compatibility on the Sentry build. I'll check.
