Straddle push button over labels within a layout

I'm new so I hope this is correct place to ask this. I'm trying to place a pushbutton onto a label but because they are inside a layout it keeps snapping into place everywhere I don't want it to go. Ideally I would like to straddle the push button over the edge of 2 labels. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Hi and welcome to devnet,
One way is to manually place (and maybe resize) your QPushButton.
Just to be sure about the end result you want, can you post a picture of what you would like it to look like ?

Thanks, Oh I see what you mean using the X and Y but it wants to move in behind my frames and the "bring forward" button doesn't seem to work. Ordered a couple books on Amazon today. Hopefully studying those will make me less of a noob. Martin Fitzpatrick and Alan D Moore. I took some Udemy courses and watched a lot of Youtube vids but still so many gaps.👌

Yeah and PYQT5 in Pycharm. Making some good progress today. Sorted out a lot of bugs. Designing icons on Canva right now. Yesterday was studying MySQL. Think I've got basics down on that but need to figure out the server side and connecting it to populate tables, buttons, line edits, etc. Fun stuff but really had no idea it was like this. Resembles doing home renos. You've got so many different aspects of trades and you try bringing them all together on a project to make something functional and gorgeous.
