    Hello, am from Kenya, I have an educational qt license. I have tried all the available guidance on the qt documentation on how to set up android kit but I haven't been able to do it. I don't see the android option during installation, upon manual kit addition, it doesn't create the tool chain for me and on build it prompts android is not supported by the qt version. Am using qt 6.4.2 and qt creator 9.0.2. Not many guys know qt here, please help

      Hello glorious Qt community,

      unfortunately i can't also find Android in the education license and haven't the opportunity to install.

      My OS is Manjaro. In the open source version there is the opportunity to install Qt for Android.

      Is there new information about this problem?

      Thank you very much every one and have a nice day.

          @mathens_KE Please also go to preferences -> mobile devices -> Android then take a screenshot then post it here. Then we can see your actual configuration and we might have a better look at what's going wrong.

              Android should appear on the list right under webassembly.

              There's been lots of problems reported these last two or three weeks by people who can't install Qt at all due do a broken mirror. I suggest you search the forum for those topics to see how you could try another mirror.

                @ankou29666 Hi,

                Based on the official page, the educational license includes Android. Did you check if it is also absent from the other version such as 6.2 ? If so, you should contact the Qt Company to sort it out, there might be a glitch there.

                    @SGaist I personnaly never contacted the Qt Company as I was able to install on mac just one or two days max before the mirror issues appeared and
                    I had no trouble to install the android stuff on Qt 6.4.2 on mac nor updating to 6.4.3 neither on mac nor on windows.

                    but as far as I'm concerned, Android does appear for 6.5.0-rc, 6.4.3 (installed) and 6.3.2 both on windows and mac in the Qt Maintenance tool. Op's screenshot shows MQTT available which is not the case for me. But i'm not using the educational, i'm using the open source instead.

                        @mathens_KE You should still open a ticket to have the full picture of what is happening.

                        Based on the license page which redirects to the pricing, Android seems to be included in all cases.
