How to create a parent button with child buttons in Designer?

I'm trying to create parent buttons with child buttons in Designer but I'm finding it difficult .When the parent button is expanded it shows all the child buttons under that parent buttons as shown i the picture below. I would appreciate any help,Thanks in advanced.

Ummm, is that not exactly what you are asking for? If not, what is it you want?!

@JonB I want to know the correct widget that does that, since I'm new to Qt. I have been searching on the internet but I'm not getting good feedback. A little direction will do please.

Also, using the word "button" is confusing - what you're showing has nothing to do with buttons...

You are not "new to Qt", you have made nearly 200 posts in over a year!

I don't know what " the correct widget that does that" means to you. You show a tree view with "parent" and "child" icons, then you say you're " finding it difficult". You have the opportunity to explain what you are actually looking for, we are not mind readers. I don't know what you want, maybe someone else can tell from what you have written....

@JonB I took the image I posted from sqlite browser and wanted to mimic it in my App I'm building. I have not implemented it yet.

@jsulm Thanks I have not used the qtreeview before so I'm checking it out.The reason I said button is because of the behavior of the hierarchy.

Since you didn't explain that, I had no idea it was an image from another application which you wanted to emulate! I assumed you were showing a QTreeView/QTreeWidget you had already created in your Qt application!
