    Hi everyone,

I am not a coder, but a designer. I am investigating the QT keyboard and have a couple questions on whether it can/cannot do these following things:

    1. The Keyboard demo shows that certain fields can call upon certain keyboard layouts. Can the user change keyboard type (think of a toggle switch) regardless of the field that they are in?

    2. Does QT keyboard support re-scaling? Think of dragging to resize a keyboard (like Windows' on-screen Accessibility Keyboard)

    3. This may be more of an add-on question, but is there a component out there that acts like a "dictionary" of previously entered text/terms? For example, if I touch a "login" field, can I select from a list of previously entered items on the upper keyboard banner, even without having entered anything?

    4. Similar to question 3, but taking it further, can those fields be auto populated, even without selecting any previous entries (probably not a QT keyboard question).

Thanks everyone so much for the help.

        Hi and welcome to devnet,

You might be asking questions for situations that may have not been encountered yet. They are indeed interesting.

I would suggest bringing them to the interest mailing list. You'll find there Qt's developers/maintainers. This forum is more user oriented.
