Qt not connecting through SSH to a BeagleBone Black

    I am trying to set up a Kit in Qt. In my version it does not allow for a password. I can putty into the BBB no problem. When I in Qt hit test it says it is not there. I don't see how logging into the BBB is possible with out the password. I am using the latest community version. Totally new to Qt.

        Although you didn't state your Qt Creator version, you may be facing the condition shown in this post for Qt Creator >= 4.9.x

        It looks like the solution/workaround is using the key pair approach in SSH.
