Roughly how long will it be until this gets pushed out through the sdk update tool?
The screenshots look really good. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Getting the new Creator into the Qt SDK is next on the agenda.
There were some changes to the handling of tool chains which require some updates to the SDK installer and afterwards we need to do extensive testing to make sure everything still works well together with those changes.

You should be able to install it and use it with the SDK.
//i didn't try this now with the releases, but the RC versions worked together ;)But i have a question: would it delayed the SDK launch more than two days? It would have been nice if the SDK "package" contained Creator 2.2 out of the box.
LE: Tobias already answered while i was writing this question ;)

I just finished downloading Creator 2.2. My question now is: how do I go about getting rid of the qt Creator version bundled with the SDK? The checkbox in the sdk-maintenance-tool is greyed out.
I don't particularly want to have both 2.1 and 2.2 installed at the same time as it confuses a few of my launchers etc.

A tip from "@ltomuta":https://twitter.com/#!/ltomuta/status/66457048019243008 I'm installing Qt Creator 2.2. Btw, it is known to have some settings incomatibility with Qt SDK 1.1's Qt Creator so be warned #tip

Qt Creator imports and updates its settings in all versions we ever released. Going back to an older version was never supported, so this tip applies to all versions of Qt Creator in existence.
