Qt Forum: "Popular" has a LONG memory
-
I don't know if this is something that changed in the recent update (probably not), but I noticed just now when viewing the "Popular" list that some of the threads it's showing me were last updated more than a decade ago.
I guess I sort of figured, especially given the "flame" icon associated with the category/list, that it would skew a bit more towards recently popular threads, not popular-back-before-I-had-any-gray-hairs.
There are options to adjust the timeframe, in the filter bar above the posts — I can switch it from "All Time" to any of "Day", "Week", or "Month". (Three extremely recent timeframes that make "All Time" as a default seem even more out of place.) But that selection has to be made anew with each visit to the list, as it always resets to "All Time".
Is it possible to change the default popularity timeframe to something sensible like "Month", by any chance?

Thank you for your report! At the moment, I cannot promise that it can be fixed soon. However, I will create a ticket and prioritise it with the team! I'm sorry but we got too many things on the table, not just the forum.

@Nhan-Nguyen Totally understandable, and it's the exact opposite of urgent. I just wanted to get it on the radar. Thanks!
