    @Christian-Ehrlicher

    So they are, thanks! That's great.

    And the online installers are here: https://download.qt.io/archive/online_installers/ -- old versions (4.6.0 and earlier) of those seem to work as well. I just have to be careful not to let it install anything released within the last 6 months or so. (Because it will absolutely try!)

    @FeRDNYC hi,

    It might be worth opening a ticket on the bug tracker if there's not something already about it there.

      @SGaist Mmm, suppose it can't hurt. Done.

      Though... I mean, in a certain sense, I could understand if the ticket is summarily closed. Unsupported OS, unsupported old tool versions.

      Hopefully not, but... well, I'm aware I'm treading firmly upon the Land of No Support, I'll just leave it at that.

        @FeRDNYC well, in the absolute, if the tool is running on an older version of macOS, it think that it being able to forbid the installation of Qt versions requiring a latter SDK would be a nice feature.

          Alas, my prediction was close to correct. The issue was actually closed because, "The number of users, [who] will be affected by this, is rather small." (Which... fair!)

            @FeRDNYC better tried than doing nothing

            Can you share the link so the ticket is easier to find ?

              @SGaist Sure, it was actually in my previous comment ("Done."):

              @FeRDNYC said in Qt Maintenance Tool just upgraded itself and QtCreator to incompatible versions (macOS 10.15):

              @SGaist Mmm, suppose it can't hurt. Done.

              But it's https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTIFW-3350

                  @SGaist

                  See, this is exactly why the W3C recommends underlining links at all times, not just on hover. 😄 (And here, they don't even underline on hover! A "Failure of Success Criterion 1.4.1 due to creating links that are not visually evident without color vision" for sure.)

                    @FeRDNYC that's an interesting point you make ! I wonder if it's something that should be considered following the next update of the forum.

                      @SGaist Looks like they do underline on hover, now, so that's already a major improvement. (And there are some pages, like our account "My Posts" lists, where links are underlined at all times. Not sure why there's a difference, but it's not a bad thing.)

                        Huh. Actually, links in post body text are always underlined — but they're not in the edit preview, only on hover. (In the desktop interface.) That's a strange distinction.

                          @FeRDNYC that is something that has changed with the update :-)
