Qt Maintenance Tool just upgraded itself and QtCreator to incompatible versions (macOS 10.15)

@FeRDNYC You can download old QtCreator installers here: https://download.qt.io/archive/qtcreator/ and the recent ones here: https://download.qt.io/development_releases/qtcreator/
So they are, thanks! That's great.
And the online installers are here: https://download.qt.io/archive/online_installers/ -- old versions (4.6.0 and earlier) of those seem to work as well. I just have to be careful not to let it install anything released within the last 6 months or so. (Because it will absolutely try!)

@FeRDNYC hi,
It might be worth opening a ticket on the bug tracker if there's not something already about it there.

Alas, my prediction was close to correct. The issue was actually closed because, "The number of users, [who] will be affected by this, is rather small." (Which... fair!)
-
@FeRDNYC better tried than doing nothing
Can you share the link so the ticket is easier to find ?
@SGaist Sure, it was actually in my previous comment ("Done."):

See, this is exactly why the W3C recommends underlining links at all times, not just on hover. 😄 (And here, they don't even underline on hover! A "Failure of Success Criterion 1.4.1 due to creating links that are not visually evident without color vision" for sure.)

@FeRDNYC that's an interesting point you make ! I wonder if it's something that should be considered following the next update of the forum.
@SGaist Looks like they do underline on hover, now, so that's already a major improvement. (And there are some pages, like our account "My Posts" lists, where links are underlined at all times. Not sure why there's a difference, but it's not a bad thing.)

Huh. Actually, links in post body text are always underlined — but they're not in the edit preview, only on hover. (In the desktop interface.) That's a strange distinction.
