[suggestion] Shouldn't we have a forum the Qt Ambassador program?

The same way we have one for certification it may make sense to have one for the Ambassador program.

Maybe it is supposed to be on the showcase forum. Is it?
If so I would suggest that we may need to make this more obvious...EDIT: I don't think it is...

I think that is a good idea. My first question would be "How do I check the status of an application?"

As soon as we have the groups in public beta, we will add an Ambassador group. That will also receive it's own forum. It will be soon. :)
When it comes to checking the status, we will have to see what Katherine has to say. She is running the program.

Alexandra, my question was about a "Qt Ambassador" forum (not group) like we have "Behind the Scenes\Beta Testing"

There's two things here. Let's compare to the Qt certification forum:
Qt Certification -- anything about certification
Qt Certified developers forum -- affiliated with the group, especially for certified developers.
Qt Ambassadors -- anything about ambassadors, ambassadorship and whatnot
Qt Ambassador forum -- affiliated with group, especially for ambassadors
You were asking about (1) here?

I am not an "ambassador" so don't know what kind of resources are available exclusively to "ambassadors".
My suggestion is the creation of a forum here where people (not ambassadors yet) can discuss the "ambassador program". Subjects like "how to become?", "what is it?", "is it any good", ....

After all she will have to monitor the forum if it's supposed to make any sense...

Hola. At the moment, there is no way for applicants to check the status of their application via any automated way. But, if you have applied you can send an e-mail to qt-ambassadors@nokia.com with your name and project name, and we can give you a status.
As for a forum, we can very well have a forum. What about continuing this one? What do you have in mind? Send comments/questions, can be sent to our box, qt-ambassador@nokia.com.

As far as this thread is concerned my suggestion is as simple as adding a forum called "Qt Ambassador [Program]" to http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/ so people may ask questions about the program. I have started another thread asking about how the "ambassador" program works and could not find a adequate forum for it.
I assume after having a forum for it many more people will be aware of the program and have a place to talk about it.

Thanks! We probably would want some admin to move the existing threads about it there... I assume most of them will have a "ambassador" like tag.
