Need help fixing screen name (urgent)

I accidentally chose the wrong screen name. How can I change it to the correct one?

Currently my full name occupies the screen name for my account - the correct screen name should be 'rwbaumg' (which is kept consistent for a variety of reasons).

This is a new account so I don't mind deleting it and creating a new one, but I can't seem to figure out how. In short, my options right now appear to be A. Get help fixing the screen name, or B. abandon the account, which would prevent me from using my primary email (not good).

I apologize if this is the wrong place for this request (if so please point me in the right direction).
Any help is greatly appreciated; I'm a bit OCD and simply can't have an incorrect screen name....
