I wonder if Qt and HTML5 are going to be pushed on S40 too :)If that happens, just nothing like it. There is a HUGE market in India especially for S40 phones, imagine the kind of population numbers one can reach with their Qt apps :)
Mobile apps for the common man in India, is one field that will explode in the coming years. The potential is unlimited!

tbscope: I think the chances for that to happen are good: The announcement said everything will be Qt based, which in my understanding includes all synchronization software, etc. running on the PCs. So we do need a great cross-platform support for the big machines.
Of course any speed-up done to improve the phones will be noticeable on the desktop, too. It is the same codebase after all!
