Solved Ubuntu 18.04 building and errors
-
Like a fool, I accepted an upgrade message I received tonight from 16.04 to go to 18.04, since doing this I'm having problems.
During building I get:
:-1: error: ld.so: object 'libgtk3-nocsd.so.0' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
and
:-1: error: ERROR: ld.so: object 'libgtk3-nocsd.so.0' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
Despite the messages an executable is built, but when I deploy and debug I now get:
The inferior stopped because it received a signal from the operating system. Signal name: SIGABRT Signal meaning: Aborted
Then it drops into the Disassember. Is there a fix for this?
I should have said, I'm running Ubuntu in a virtual machine on an iMAC, all was well when I was running 16.04, now its broken.
[Edit] Having searched around and found only fixes for Windows based VM's, I decided to roll back to 16.04 which works.

Hi,
Start your application setting the "QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS" environment variable set to 1. There might be something to be found there.
By the way, what version of Qt are you using ?
ow did you install it ? -
