I tried searching for the key words "Preview Quick Designer" and it returned no results. There is atleast a forum post mentioning these words.

Also is it required to show Google ads on search page. I have hardly noticed any ads before in any Nokia or Qt websites.

If it was not intentional then someone should remove it.

We're waiting for Google to index the site. The site was hidden behind the firewall up until late on Wednesday so it might take some more time.

And the adds will go away as well!

A few minutes ago Google added our site to their index, searches return actual results now. :)

Seems more crawling is required to provide accurate results. I can't still find any results for the above mentioned key words. Can't we have an inbuilt search tool like other forums have instead of relying on Google crawling the pages.

Also having a custom search can help users be specific with their search query - say where to search only forum or only wiki or search in all locations etc.

The forum (and the wiki) has individual searches if you'd rather use that. -> http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/search

Google is an easy choice for us while we focus on other features. The new Tag feature will assist with finding stuff for instance. When we get further along and things stabilize we might revisit the search engine setup, thanks!
