sudo apt-add-repository ppa:u-szeged/sedkit@DForDJ Is there a reason why you ask this here? Your question is not related to Qt. You should rather ask people behind http://ppa.launchpad.net/u-szeged/sedkit/ubuntu

@jsulm So your saying there is no work around? Do I need this tool for compiling QT from git?

No, as I wrote you could try to use repo for older Ubuntu version.
