@tomy You need to use another repository. Take a look at this tool: https://github.com/JKSH/QtSdkRepoChooser

    @jsulm
    I don't use an online SDK I think. :(
I also clicked on the link given in Alternative Instructions but it says "page not found".
The process seems very complicated. I don't know why such an obstacle should be on the way of using Maintenance Tool!
Previously I was used to creating a temporary folder name and it'd go fine. Now it doesn't work seemingly!
By the way, I'm sure when installing Qt I checked the tick for MinGw because I knew this. Still can't figure out all the above problems! :(

@tomy Can you show "Qt Versions" tab?
"The process seems very complicated" - usually there is nothing complicated if you used online installer. Some repositories can cause problems (offline/bad connection) .

you can check your installation folder

        0_1544449609597_7cd79664-8aba-4a8d-bd48-466a10570563-image.png

besides your android installation should be a folder for mingw, if it isn't than you did not install it. If there is such a folder then QTC did not pick it up automatically and you may have to manual manage your kits

          There are only Android versions.

Yes, I used the offline file. A bad choice probably! :(
Should uninstall this one a use the online installer this time?

No folder except for Android ones. I'm almost completely sure I checked the tick for MinGW. I even took a screen shot before installing - I don't know why but likely for this situation!

@tomy From this screen shot I don't see whether you checked Qt for MinGW.
I would uninstall and use online installer, so next time you can use Qt Maintenance Tool to update or add/remove Qt versions.

OK I go for uninstalling and reinstalling using the online method.
But, doesn't the check for MinGW 5.3.0 in the very bottom, mean the Desktop kit you meant?

                  Hi
The one in bottom is the actual compiler.

The one KazuoAsano shows in his shot is
a precompiled Qt version/binary for that compiler.

Just select the mingw Qt version higher up and it will select the right compiler to
                  install also.

Hi did you manually select the mingGW 5.3 ( below)?
I wonder as the Qt bin mingw you checked higher up
                      is for mingw 7.3

also, you do have visual studio installed already, correct ?

Im pretty sure u need mingw 7.3.0 64 bit compiler which it normally selects for you.
do you need the 5.3 version for anything ?

                            not actually.

So now the section collection is only as follows:

I think it is then. Hopefully you get mingw compiler too.

What compiler do you mean please?
Should I check MinGW 7.3.0 64-bit (in Tools) too?

Im pretty sure u need mingw 7.3.0 64 bit compiler which it normally selects for you.
do you need the 5.3 version for anything ?

he is quite certain u want mingw 7.three.zero sixty four bit compiler which it normally selects for you.
do you want the five.three model for some thing ?
