Solved Does Qt 5 support CE 6.0?
-
The question is quite simple, but I'm not able to find a clear answer.
Does Qt 5 support CE 6.0 officially?I found some documents and posts
but I don't understand if they're either tests or working solutions.
It seems that Qt 5.6 is the last version where C++11 is not mandatory and so VS2008 (which target CE 6.0) should be supported. But I can be wrong (I'm not an expert).
Could someone clarify this, please?

Hi,
The easiest to ensure that would be to contact the platform maintainer(s).

Not officially.
KDAB, a partner of the Qt Company, has been providing support for Windows CE: https://www.kdab.com/expertise/qt/windows-embedded-ce/ They have also contributed patches to ensure that Qt runs on Windows CE, but the Qt Project does not actively build for or test on actual Windows CE devices.

That's right. Qt 5.7+ cannot support platforms without a C++11 compiler.

The best people to ask is KDAB.
