Qt 5 provides multimedia support by the Qt Multimedia module thus Phonon is no longer part of Qt. Phonon is maintained by KDE, it can be integrated with Qt visit "https://phonon.kde.org/":https://phonon.kde.org/

        Hi

I am using QtCreator 2.4.1 based on Qt 4.8.0(32 bit) on ubuntu.
Is there a .so (shared object) that i can plugin to my project.

I have problem builiding wwWidgets(make, make install) too, thinking .so is easiler. since it is build by others and user need only to pluginto their project. Could you kindly assist.

        By newbie.

I don't quite follow you. I guess you want pre built binaries of wxWidgets. Instructions to download them are available at "http://codelite.org/LiteEditor/WxWidgets30Binaries#toc2":http://codelite.org/LiteEditor/WxWidgets30Binaries#toc2

Explain in detail if you mean something else.

            Hi,

            It's really "wwWidgets":http://www.wysota.eu.org/wwwidgets/

However, @ homing what is your exact current setup, in two messages you are talking about two different unrelated version of Qt Creator. What exact version of Qt are you using ? What exact problem do you encounter ?

Trying to use latest Qt version. I am currently using QtCreator 2.4.1 based on Qt 4.8.0(32 bit) on ubuntu.

              For wwwidgets:
              @http://www.wysota.eu.org/wwwidgets/
i download wwWidgets 1.0 source code (Qt5 compatible)
i went into widgets and run make, whole bunch of error.

              For Phonon and totem
i have no clue, how to get the librarys

What is the latest Qt version for you ? Qt 4 or Qt 5 series ?
Note that if you are going to use the latest Qt 5, then you will have to update Qt Creator to at least version 3

You can look for phonon and totem in your distribution package manager
