      I've got exactly the same problem with Qt 5.3... but till now could not find other solution then going on signing outside QtCreator...

      Using the "Verbose output" option in the project settings does not help at all: I cannot see the command launched by QtCreator nor the real error given by jarsigner.

      At least, that's what happens on windows... I'm now going to try it out on Linux...

        You should have a look the "bug report system":http://bugreports.qt-project.org to see if it's something known. If not please consider opening a new bug report providing as much details as possible about your setup when it fails
