Unsolved XCode 7.1 and "App Icons Source"
-
Hi,
Every time I (re)build my app for iPhone, and open the XCode project, the "App Icons Source" is reset to 'Use Asset Catalog'. And, as far as I know, with this configuration, all the images I generated for the app (using a Mac icon generator site) are not found. Therefore, when I generate the archive, the app has no icon set, what makes it to be rejected by Apple.
So, I click on the 'Use Asset Catalog' button, and XCode asks me to migrate my existing app icons. This generates a 'Images.xcassets' directory, to where I have to copy the generated icons.
But, as I said in the beginning, when I rebuild, the "App Icons Source" is reset to 'Use Asset Catalog', and I have to do it all over again.
My question is: how can I rebuild my app, so that when I open the XCode project, the icons configuration is not lost?
Thanks!

Hi,
If I understand you correctly, you might be looking for Qt 5 iOS platform notes about assets.
Hope it helps

Thanks!
I'll try that and let you know.

@SGaist
Thanks! That worked fine!Looking at Platform Notes - iOS, I saw the description of how to set a launch image, but I keep on failing to do that...
XCode warns me about that:
"/Users/canellas/c++/builder/qtcreator/perinatal/celular_mae/app/perinatal__celular_mae__app.xcodeproj Applications using launch screen files and targeting iOS 7.1 and earlier need to also include a launch image in an asset catalog."Would you know how should I configure that?
(I really enjoined developing using Qt, but the configuration for Apple devices is exhausting, at least for me!)
Thanks a lot for your help!

Which version of iOS are you targeting ?
