Qt Widgets under iOS with projector
-
Dear all,
Can one of you possibly help me with following problem:
I have built an iOS-App with QT-Widgets-Framework (Qt 5.6) . The App runs without any problems on my iPad.
I would like to connect the iPad with an external monitor / projector via “Lighning – VGA – Adapter” in order to present the App on a bigger scale.
Before I start my App, the whole iPad screen is mirrored on the external screen.
However, as soon as I start the App, the external screen turns black.
I have tried to localize the problem.
After the QApplication initialization the screen turns blank.
Unfortunately I do not have a clue how to solve this issue – Does one of you have an idea?
Maybe special parameters for initialization are to be set? If so, what / which are these?
Thanks a lot

Hi
That sounds very odd.
Did you test with other non Qt apps to check it does work ? -
Hi,
Might be related to QTBUG-56768.
-
Hi,
is there any workaround ?
-
Not that I know of yet, sorry.

@Gerhard
It seems it works with Qt 5.5.
"Doing the same thing with Qt5.5 works."So that is the only workaround. Using that version.
