Qt 5.7 app to play video in android device

Hi,

I'm developing an android app which shows video list and play selected video.

1- I've followed this guide to build Qt5.7.1for android

2- I've tried to build qtmultimedia with the new qmake. But it seems that something is missing.

What I need exactly to use videoPlayer and videoOutput QML classes in android ?

@med01 Why do you want to build Qt/qtmultimedia by yourself? There are already builds for Android ARM and x86 which you can install using Qt Maintenance Tool..

But where "Qt Maintenance tool" is normally installed ?

In the folder where you installed Qt if you used e.g. the online installer.

When u have installed Qt in the respective path , their will be executable called MaintenanceTool. Along with 5.7,dist,docs,examples,license,tools folders.

Thank you guys for answers.

I have reinstalled QT5.7 using the online installer. And I have selected Android ARMv7.

Now I can play video in my simple app.
