-
Hi it's possible to use hashes in code. For example i will have different applications and i need to difference each one. I can use one hash to difference each one?
-
Hi,
You should explain a bit more. What are these different applications ? What makes them not different that you need to have hashes to differentiate them from one another ?
-
@SGaist These different app's only is one game done in qt. I want that each one has one hash different. yeah! Like name unique.
-
Where are you getting these names from ? What are these applications ?
-
@SGaist It's one game programmed with QT. The name is only one "alias"

@Jeronimo
Hi
I might not fully understand what you ask, but if it that each game copy has an ID so u can
tell them apart then you could also use
http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/quuid.html#details
To give each .exe a GUID.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globally_unique_identifier -
@mrjj i can save the value generated for QUuid::createUuid like one string?? what does this generate all time one new id¿?
-
@Jeronimo
yes they can be strings
https://www.guidgenerator.com/
like
"a904beb4-3273-4433-a59f-7d1128a7814f"ALternative just use generator to have say 1000 GUID and use them as u want.
