    Hi,

I want to add icons of WiFi, GPS connection, Battery usage, and storage space into my application GUI to show the status of these devices. Any one can tell me where to get the icon files / widgets? For each device, do I need to use multiple icon files to display its different status?

    Thank you very much.

      Hello,
Just google it. There are sited that do offer icons database including information about licensing for each file. Depending on Your needs You can also buy those files.

This is a nice set by Everaldo Coelho that he released under the L-GPL which makes them very easy to use in your project. Same license Qt uses for it's community version.

I saw some for battery, network signal, etc. If you need something more specific you'll just have to look around and find some.

Know that most icons are not free though and if you don't pay the royalties they will catch you. I've had multiple friends that got sued big time over using icons they didn't own. Cost one of them $20000 for a $250 icon had he registered it. So be very careful what you use that you don't own or have rights to use. :)

          Hi LuGRU and ambershark,

Thank you very much for the information. I will look at them and pay attention to their license requirement.
