@J-Hilk I just tried that. It's the same as no debug. There is a visible blank background before "Hello World" shows up if I didn't add a QLabel in QtClass constructor. Thank you!

@Rufledore I don't think you can use Qt library calls for TCP/serial port without being in a Qt application. As in, they don't work properly, as you have discovered. They need parts of the Q(Core|Gui)Application-type architecture.,

@ManiRon Check whether there is a newer version of the graphics driver for your laptop/graphics card (integrated graphics).

@Dramcryx What should show-decoration-selected do? There is no style property with this name. Try ::item:selected and the other suggestions. If these don't work, you can't do it with style sheet and you need to change your item or your model directly

The problem is the OS - until the OS does not tell us that the widget is really hidden or resized we have to wait. And all this stuff is async.

Hi and welcome to devnet, The idea is to find whether the installation of the two new softwares altered the PATH environment in such a way that DaVinci Resolve fails to find the required dependencies. If so, remove these paths from your PATH environment variable and start DaVinci again to check.

@mchome For compiler warning flags, you must edit the .pro file (QMAKE_CXXFLAGS). For editing warning flags: Tools > Options... > Code Model > Clang Code Model > Manage... button.

@J-Hilk said in [Qt Installer Framework] Run a batch file during uninstallation: Ok, I found the correct file. seems like I abandoned the shell script on deinstall and went directly to this entry Component.prototype.createOperations = function() { ... component.addOperation("Execute","echo", "do nothing","UNDOEXECUTE","rm", "-rf", "@HomeDir@/Desktop/MyApp"); } This worked! Thanks a ton! Initially, I didn't notice the neat little trick you did by doing nothing in the Execute part.
