    Hi
    I am extremely new to this and need to use QT creator for studies.
    So, your kindest patience would be greatly appreciated :)

    I have installed qt-opensrouce-windows-x86-mingw482_opengl-5.3.0 and when trying to run the sample project "Hello", I get the following error:

    15:58:08: Running steps for project Hello...
    15:58:08: Could not start process "C:\Qt\Qt5.3.0\5.3\mingw482_32\bin\qmake.exe" C:\Qt\Hello\Hello.pro -r -spec win32-g++ "CONFIG+=debug"
    Error while building/deploying project Hello (kit: Desktop Qt 5.3.0 MinGW 32bit)
    When executing step 'qmake'
    15:58:08: Elapsed time: 00:00.

    I'm running on Windows 10.

    Thanks!

      @LiDe said in Error while building/deploying - when executing 'qmake':

      I have installed qt-opensrouce-windows-x86-mingw482_opengl-5.3.0

      Why? that version is 4.5 years old. Use the latest one and make sure you have the corresponding version of the compiler (MinGW?) installed

        @VRonin This was the version given by the University as part of the study pack. Which version do you recommend?
