QTMaintenanceTool - really slow

Why is this tool so slow? It has been slow for years now.
It is not my link, it is running at 9-10Mbps; when this tool is downloading the updated version of Qt it does so at around 100-200Kbps! So 119MB takes over two hours. Now I only select the barest minimum to download as it just takes too long.
The really annoying thing about this tool is you cannot change servers. I assume is is selecting a default server that is really slow.
Please let us change servers easily.
