    Hi,

On a new Mac build of High-Sierra, I'm installed the latest Xcode 10.0 and downloaded the Qt 5.11.2 open source files (without any of the extensions, just ticked 5.11.2).

Via the command line, I've jumped to the "Src" directory, and configured with:

./configure -nomake examples -nomake tests -opensource

    I then ran "make"

After some considerable hours, it's failed with:

    media_param_traits.cc -o obj/media/base/ipc/ipc/media_param_traits.o
    ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed.
    make[5]: *** [run_ninja] Error 1
    make[4]: *** [debug-all] Error 2
    make[3]: *** [sub-gn_run-pro-make_first] Error 2
    make[2]: *** [sub-core-make_first] Error 2
    make[1]: *** [sub-src-make_first] Error 2
    make: *** [module-qtwebengine-make_first] Error 2
    $

I'm not sure this is related, but I didn't tick to download any extensions including anything QtWeb related as I only need QtCore and QtGui.

Many thanks in advance for any input.

      Hi @CAM79,

We would need to see the whole error message here to see why it is failing, but if you only need core and gui then it has already built those at this point as it is trying to build QtWebEngine. So maybe you already have what you need?

        Hi Andy,

Ok, that's good news, hopefully both the debug and release have been built.

Here is the full log regarding that stage of the build process:

          Hi,

If you don't need QtWebEngine, just move the module folder out of the source tree before calling configure and it won't be built.
