I recently installed a static qt version using the powershell script listed below. I added the kit in qt creator there is an issue when building using the static definition. It states that Project ERROR: Unknown module(s) in QT: designer. Any of the UI elements aren't recognized. Is there something I missed installing in the configuration of this script?

    Thanks.

     .SYNOPSIS

Build a static version of Qt for Windows.

     .DESCRIPTION

This scripts downloads Qt source code, compiles and installs a static version
of Qt. It assumes that a prebuilt Qt / MinGW environment is already installed,
typically in C:\Qt. This prebuilt environment uses shared libraries. It is
supposed to remain the main development environment for Qt. This script adds
a static version of the Qt libraries in order to allow the construction of
      standalone and self-sufficient executable.

This script is typically run from the Windows Explorer.

      Requirements:
      - Windows PowerShell 3.0 or higher.
      - 7-zip.

     .PARAMETER QtSrcUrl

URL of the Qt source file archive.
By default, use the latest identified version.

     .PARAMETER QtStaticDir

Root directory where the static versions of Qt are installed.
      By default, use C:\Qt\Static.

     .PARAMETER QtVersion

The Qt version. By default, this script tries to extract the version number
from the Qt source file name.

     .PARAMETER MingwDir

Root directory of the MinGW prebuilt environment. By default, use the version
which was installed by the prebuilt Qt environment.

     .PARAMETER NoPause

Do not wait for the user to press <enter> at end of execution. By default,
execute a "pause" instruction at the end of execution, which is useful
when the script was run from Windows Explorer.

      Hi,

From a quick look at the options passed to configure, the qttools module is not built hence the designer module will not be available.

Thats what it seemed like but I could not find the command to add it to the configure options. Is the command just qttools...it seems there may also be an explicit qt5 command?
        Thanks.

Just remove the -nomake tools option.

Is there a way to tell if the qttools module was properly built and added? After rerunning the script it successfully completed but still shows the same error in QT.

What is strange about this issue is that my other setup has the same qt version and mingw install and allows me to qmake and build the project.

Executing qmake gives me this error, and I cannot build as it immediately throws unknown module type.

So I just opened a default qt mainwindow application to see if it was rooted in my code or the build process. It would seem that it would point to the latter as even in a simple test application the errors I am seeing are still present. The errors shown in the image are the same ones in my actual project. This would point to something in the configuration not being established right when built. Does anyone have any thoughts to what it could be?

                Thanks.

What part of the application is using the designer module ?
