Android Icon Sizes Question

Hi there,
As you can see in the attached image, we can provide 3 icon sizes for low, medium and high dpi.
So my question is what if i provide icon for only high dpi, and will QT resize and assign to other automatically or not?
Second question is, if NOT, then what sizes should i use? 1024x1024 for high? 512x512 for medium, and 256 for low? in short i have no idea.

regarding the icon sizes you can use the provided icon tempaltes from the Android Icon Design Guidelines
For the other question i can't tell you, but you could simply try it and check the result.
