How to use offline maps with qt 5.5 and qml

I am using qt 5.5 version with qml QtQuick version 2.5. I want to use offline maps using qml plugin.
I have a linux system, if requires for hosting any server. Is there any way I can get offline maps?

Yes. But this post uses Qt Version 5.8.
I am using Qt Version 5.5 and I cannot upgrade it.
