I have run the Qt example "findfiles" in Windows and it works fine.
But in Centos I get this error each time I try to open a file:

The location is not a folder

Any suggestion would be really apreciate!

@pedrito Is any application associated with the file type you're trying to open?

Yes. If I see the properties --> open with(tab) there is listed the program associated with the file.
I would really appreciate to solve this.

@pedrito And if you double click on such a file is it opened in that application?

            hi
            Works fine in linux mint
            alt text

What types of file are u searching for and what app are expected to open.

if i click on a not bound .EXT then it says nothing.

Where does it say "The location is not a folder" ?
