    After making a change in the .ui file and compiling the code again, it is appeared in the preview of the pdf report but the saved report is still in the style of the former .ui.

      well the pdf file must be old then?
      To be sure all is rebuild. delete the build folder.

        @mrjj It generates the new one, i.e., I deleted former reports in the folder and then press the report button. The numbers in the report are changed with a new input to the code but the headers and so on are still like the old one.

            @mrjj I received a comment as:
            perhaps the ui is just a feature for a preview but not the actual report, i.e., the report is being created from a html code.
            In such a case, which html code has to be changed?

              Hi,

              What are you using to generate that report ?

                @SGaist Hi, the report generation code is composed of a cxx, a header and a .ui file. These are embedded into another code and I use cmake to run it.

                  @PatrickK
                  If you open the UI file in Designer. Is that what you see in preview ?
                  Where did you get the cxx and ui from ?

                    That doesn't really answer my question, are you writing your own report generator or are you using something that is already available ?

                      @mrjj @SGaist If by "designer" you mean the design option when I open the .ui with Qt; yes, I see the changes. I'm using an already written code by a developer.
