Hi, Based on this post from the clang documentation , I'd say it's not yet ready to become a new officially supported platform. However, you should rather ask that question on the interest mailing list . You'll find there Qt developers/maintainers. This forum is more user oriented.

Well, mingw is very complete with SDK , debugger and compiler in one , ready to go collection providing
all that is needed. But if that's a good reason or if Clang could be the same i don't know.
Maybe its historical.
