Qt ble problems

I've been trying to do bonding with a cypress microcontroller and the qt bluetooth low energy. When I use the example lowenergyscanner code, qt is having trouble connecting to a device that is already paired to my desktop. The microcontroller has bonding enabled via PSoC, so it will auto pair. Qt can connect just fine and read the values, however after it is paired it can't ever connect again. I have to manually unpair the device (forget that device) before I can reconnect.

Can you also share what version of Qt you are using ? With which distribution ? What bluez version is your system running ?
