Can we mark a text in QTextEdit as hyperlink

Can we mark a text in QTextEdit as hyperlink (a word) in QTextEdit as hyperlink and clicking on that hyperlink should invoke some action

I think he dreams about something like
QTextBrowser::anchorClicked()

One way that might work is mouse events ( for Pos) and
QTextEdit::anchorAt()
